Any hopes Blyth Spartans had of a good run in the FA Cup were dashed when they were trounced by Worksop Town on Tuesday night.
Spartans dominated the first half against Curzon Ashton on Saturday, going in at the break 2-0, before being pegged back to 2-2 thanks to a stoppage time equaliser.
Blyth Spartans’ manager Graham Fenton was again left feeling frustrated after his side only managed to take one point from two games in the past week.
