Seaton Delaval fish and chip shop celebrates successful opening with queues all day
Customers in Seaton Delaval flocked to try the village’s new fish and chip shop on opening day.
Delaval Fish and Chips officially launched on Avenue Road on Saturday, October 31.
The restaurant had queues of customers outside for the entirety of the first day – all keen to make the most of half-price fish and chips offer.
Following the launch, owner, Navdeep Kumar said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along today to support us.
"We know some of you had to wait longer than expected in the queues, and we sincerely apologise for the delays.
"Your patience, understanding and support mean so much to us. We truly appreciate every single customer who walked through our doors today.
"We’re still finding our feet, and we’ll be working hard to make things run more smoothly. Thank you once again for making our opening day so special.”
