Local business Blue Heron Chimney Sweeps have proudly sponsored Ellington Juniors U14s Girls for the 2026/27 campaign.

The well-established firm have recently been taken over by Sam Heron, who assumes the reins from his father, and the new boss has sought to give something back to the local community by acting as Ellington’s front of shirt sponsor for the coming season.

For their part, Ellington endured a difficult campaign last time out, but have made a positive start to the new term, taking four points from their opening two matches under the guidance of coaches Melly Barnes, Paul Fender, and Richie Morris - who have more than 30 years of experience between them.

A statement from Ellington on Heron’s sponsorship reads: “You honestly couldn't meet a nicer or more genuine young lad. We're over the moon to see him doing well, and incredibly grateful that he's chosen to put something back into the local community by sponsoring our girls this season.”
