A fun summer event at care home in Ashington
Staff, residents, relatives and the local community came together for a fun summer fair at Station Court Care Home in Ashington.
They had the chance to try their luck on a variety of fun stalls and games, visit Mystic Lynn to have their future told, enjoy BBQ lunches and refreshments before singing and dancing to party anthems performed live by Mark McCann.
John, a resident of Station Court, said: “Its been a brilliant day for us all. My family certainly enjoyed themselves.”
Carly Chesney, activities co-ordinator at the home, added: “The event was all about bringing people together and creating special memories.
“It was absolutely brilliant that so many joined us and to see different generations having fun together – even the sunshine joined in.
“A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable.”
