Howl Comedy Club show in Morpeth to include award-winning improv
After its summer break, Howl Comedy Club is returning to Morpeth with a special show.
There will be a line-up of brilliant comics from the region – Al Stevenson (host and MC), Louis Etienne, Ian Younghusband and Adrian Hanlon.
And those who come along will also be able to enjoy a headline improv performance to finish the night from award-winning The Halls of Ridiculous.
The preview for the show includes the following: “The Halls of Ridiculous will bring their brilliantly unpredictable blend of improvised comedy, characters, sketches and absolute chaos to Howl.
“With improv, anything can happen and probably will. No two performances are ever the same, making this a completely unique headline show.
“Having provided tour support for Mark Nelson, Al is a fearless and hugely entertaining comic who’ll be taking control of the room and keeping things moving throughout the night.
“A brilliant performer with bags of charisma and a natural ability to connect with a crowd, Louis will be getting the room properly warmed up.
“With Ian, expect sharp observations, strong delivery and plenty of laughs from another cracking North East comic.
“Observational, inappropriate and occasionally wondering why he said that out loud, expect a slightly warped look at relationships, getting older and the ridiculousness of modern life from Adrian.”
The show will be held at The Market Place on Saturday, September 26, from 7pm. Food and drinks will be available.
