Berwick Darts Academy juniors take part in national finals
Three players from Berwick Darts Academy qualified for the Target Junior Darts series finals which took place in Birmingham.
Dylan McCleary, Caydon Thompson and Kaleb Bloomfield, all gained enough points from the tour to reach finals day at the International Convention Centre.
With juniors from all over the world competing, it was going to be no easy ride.
As Caydon and Kaleb bowed out at the group stages, Dylan was the last one flying the flag for Berwick, winning three out of his five group games.
Unfortunately Dylan ran into a strong opponent in the last 64, where his campaign ended, but all three can be extremely proud of making it this far.
Scottish sensation Mitchell Lawrie went on to win the whole event. Mitchell qualified for finals day after winning the Berwick leg of the series back in April.
Some big names from Target were in attendance to watch the youth of today, including PDC pro Scott Williams, former PDC MC John McDonald, and five time champion of the world Raymond van Barneveld.
The series is back in 2027 with a Newcastle leg the nearest.
