Bamburgh pub named among UK's best Sunday roasts in new list
A Bamburgh pub has been named among the best spots for a Sunday lunch in the UK.
Global travel site Big 7 Travel has officially released its annual list of The 25 Best Sunday Roasts in the UK.
Each year, they celebrate the restaurants and pubs that have perfected Britain's favourite weekend ritual.
From cosy countryside pubs to city restaurants putting a modern twist on the classic, this year's list highlights the best places across the country to tuck into a proper roast.
Coming in at number 11, The Lord Crewe in Bamburgh was highlighted for serving one of the tastiest roast dinners in the country.
Set beneath the 11th-century Bamburgh Castle on the Northumberland coast, The Lord Crewe holds an AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence and serves roast beef and pork with Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes and all the trimmings.
