The Borderers have now lost eight out of their nine National League Three outings, and find themselves ninth in the table with just 10 points to their name.

Tries from Ben Nicholson and Jack Dalrymple, both converted by Will Smith, offered Berwick a glimmer of hope, but their visitors proved too effective on the front foot, and would ultimately run up a 19-point advantage to wrap up the victory.

Due to the upcoming international break, Berwick’s next outing comes against league leaders Allan Glenn’s RFC at Scremerston on Saturday, November 28th.

For their part, Allan Glenn’s have lost just once so far this season, and currently occupy the summit of the National League Three table having taken 40 points from their first nine fixtures. The Glasgow outfit beat Dumfries Saints 35-26 last time out.
