Night-time road closure planned in Berwick town centre for logistical trial run of delivery wagons
A night-time road closure is planned in part of Berwick town centre.
A temporary road closure notice has been issued for a 200m section of Bridge Street from its junction with Hide Hill and a 70m section of lower West Street.
The closure has been requested by Avove Utilities Ltd on behalf of Northumbrian Water to assist with logistical trial run of delivery wagons to Quay Walls car park.
It is expected that the road will only be closed between 8pm and 6am on November 16-17.
In addition, a night-time temporary road closure order has been issued for a small section of Marygate and Eastern Lane. It is expected that the roads will be closed between 8pm and 6am from November 10-12.
The closure has been requested by RJ Utility Services Ltd to replace a joint box frame and cover in the carriageway.
Alternative routes will be available.
