People will once again be able to search and bid for council properties on the Homefinder website from Monday, July 20.

Northumberland County Council will relaunch the service from Monday, July 20.

During the coronavirus lockdown, the service was suspended and it has only been possible to allocate housing, both on a temporary and permanent basis, under exceptional circumstances.

Coun John Riddle, cabinet member with responsibility for housing, said: “As lockdown restrictions are now being eased we are looking to resume this important service in a way that is safe for our staff and the public.”
