Community event about group's campaign for 20mph speed limit in Northumberland village
A community event is being organised in relation to a campaign for a 20mph speed limit in the village of Longhirst, near Morpeth.
Those who come along to the event on Tuesday, November 17 in Longhirst Village Hall between noon and 2pm will have the opportunity to share their views and have an informal discussion with members of the Thirteen37 Group.
There will be presentations, a Q&A session and potentially some guest speakers. Refreshments will be available.
A spokesperson for the Thirteen37 Group said: “Join us for a friendly, informative event about road safety in Longhirst.
“We’ll be sharing the latest traffic survey evidence, explaining why we’re campaigning for a 20mph speed limit on the B1337 and hearing your views, experiences and ideas.”
