Pesky elves cause chaos in build up to Christmas at Amble Links First School

Pupils were fascinated after a smoking rocket crash landed in the playground and tiny space suits were found strewn over the grass.

Headteacher Mr Heeley caught some elves in a net and put them into quarantine.

Unfortunately they began multiplying and causing trouble.

They managed to create a satellite communications system and another spacecraft arrived – and a large hole was found in the bottom of the elves’ quarantine cage with a rope ladder dropping to the floor. There was no sign of any elves.

Somehow Mr Heeley was captured by the elves and they put him in the cage!

Then they really went to town when Mr Heeley’s car was found full of balloons – and with three wheels missing.

The children were tasked with tracking down and trap the elves.

With numerous ingenious traps laid, the elves were finally caught just before breaking up for the holidays.
