Shotton Grange named among the UK's most Instagrammable wedding venues
A wedding venue near Cramlington has earned a place in a national ranking of the UK's most Instagrammable places to get married.

Shotton Grange, situated on the Blagdon Estate near Seaton Burn, ranked 81st nationally, with approximately 3,200 Instagram posts associated with the venue.
A ranking by Premier Carriage Wedding Cars examined Instagram activity linked to wedding venues across the country, identifying the locations generating the most attention online.
Shotton Grange offers exclusive-use weddings in a countryside setting, with ceremony options including its Coach House, walled gardens and manor house surroundings.
The venue's appearance in the ranking puts it alongside several other popular North East wedding locations.
South Causey Inn in Stanley, County Durham, secured eighth place nationally with approximately 20,700 Instagram posts, making it one of the UK's ten highest-ranked venues.
Beamish Hall, also in County Durham, placed 16th with around 12,600 posts.
Together, the three venues demonstrate the North East's presence in the national ranking, with countryside estates and historic properties attracting thousands of posts.
Across the UK, Petersham Nurseries in London claimed first place with approximately 50,400 posts. Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire followed in second with 44,900, while Hatfield House in Hertfordshire completed the top three with 40,800.
For Northumberland couples planning their wedding, Shotton Grange's inclusion highlights a local venue attracting attention well beyond the region.
The ranking was compiled using the number of Instagram posts associated with relevant wedding venue tags. Figures are approximate and measure visibility on the platform rather than wedding bookings, customer satisfaction or venue quality.
