Blyth Town confirm signing of Ashington talent on dual registration deal
Lewis Baker has made a return to Blyth Town.
Blyth Town have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Lewis Baker on a dual registration deal from Ashington.

The 23-year-old stopper returns to Gateway Park having previously left the club during the 2024/25 campaign. Since then, he has enjoyed stints at Blyth Spartans and Ashington, who he will still be eligible to play for under the terms of his new agreement.
Baker made his second debut for Blyth during a hard-fought 0-0 draw against high-flying North Shields in the Ebac Northern League Division Two on Wednesday evening, producing a clean sheet and a Man of the Match display.
In a brief statement on social media addressing keeper’s return, Blyth said: “We look forward to welcoming Lewis back to Blyth Town, an excellent performance last night.”
Blyth’s next outing - which Baker is expected to be available for - comes at home to Shildon on Saturday, October 17th, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.
