Draeger Safety UK, which is headquartered in Blyth, has announced its most successful year on record for its service division.

Revenue went up by a ‘double digit percentage figure’ in 2025 for the division, which provides comprehensive lifecycle support for safety critical equipment – including maintenance, testing, calibration, and both preventive and reactive repairs.

It is part of The Dräger Group, an international leader in the fields of medical and safety technology. The group employs 597 people in the UK and Ireland, having had a presence in the UK market for more than 60 years.

Dräger’s portfolio includes gas detection devices, respiratory protection solutions, self-contained breathing apparatus and drug and alcohol testing equipment.
