Neil Diamond tribute act to perform in North Shields for special Christmas show
A special Neil Diamond tribute show is Cullercoats Crescent Club in North Shields this Christmas.
Club secretary Jamie Baker was Gary Ryan’s special guest at the Fire Station theatre in Sunderland this week, where he saw the acclaimed entertainer bring the house down in front of a packed audience.
Now Jamie is looking forward to bringing that same quality of entertainment to North Shields on Friday, December 18.
“It was brilliant to see Gary performing live in front of a full house. It really wetted my appetite for what we can look forward to at Cullercoats Crescent Club this Christmas,” said Jamie.
Gary, whose appearance on ITV’s Stars In Their Eyes helped launch his career, has gone on to perform at some of the world’s best-known venues.
He was equally impressed by what he heard about Cullercoats Crescent Club.
“Cullercoats Crescent Club is a hugely popular venue which has built a fantastic reputation for being well run and well supported, all in a fabulous setting by the sea in North Shields.
“It’s great to meet Jamie and hear more about the club and the work that goes into making it such a success story – these are hugely challenging times for clubland. I’m really looking forward to bringing my Christmas entertainment to North Shields in December.”
The December event will feature Gary performing Neil Diamond favourites alongside a separate Christmas cabaret and party set – an intimate festive entertainment package rather than his full theatre production.
