Samosa Sisters' charity lunch success

On Sunday, October 23, over 100 people of all ages were brought together by Upper Coquetdale Parish to enjoy a delicious, Asian meal in aid of the charity Peace of Mind, which supports NE asylum seekers.

The food was prepared by a group of women called the ‘Samosa Sisters’ in Rothbury Jubilee Hall. The event raised £900 for the charity.

The cooks include Kurds and ladies from Pakistan.

It was held on All Saints’ Sunday as the Church in Rothbury is All Saints.
