Sparks fly for Northumberland electrician after winning motorbike and cash prize bundle
A Northumberland electrician whose motorbike is off the road for repairs has won his dream Ducati and £10,000 cash in an online competition.
Ian Waugh, from Morpeth, landed a Ducati Multistrada V2S plus a £10,000 tax-free cash prize courtesy of BOTB's weekly Lifestyle Competition.

The 57-year-old had just finished work after spending the morning rewiring a kitchen when he received a surprise video call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams.
“I can't believe it,” said Ian.
“I'm ecstatic. I never expected to win because I'm not usually one of those lucky people.
“I ride a Suzuki Bandit, so this is a massive upgrade.”
The timing couldn't have been better, with Ian revealing his current motorbike was in desperate need of replacing.
"All my parts have come off my bike, which is poorly at the moment,” he said.
"It had its MOT last week and although it didn't fail, it had a lot of advisories on it, so it's going to be off the road for a few weeks, which is a real shame.
"Then on Sunday this bike popped up on Facebook, so I thought I would give it a go."
Ian only passed his motorbike test last year and has quickly developed a passion for riding.
"I did a bit of biking when I was a teenager and it was last year when I was sat in a pub with my friends, who are all bikers, that I decided I needed to get out and do it,” he said.
"I ride with three mates and one of them has got loads of Ducatis, but of all of his bikes I love the Multistrada.”
The Ducati Multistrada V2S is a lightweight adventure-touring motorcycle powered by an 890cc V2 engine, combining long-distance comfort with sporty performance and cutting-edge rider technology.
Alongside the bike, Ian also scooped £10,000 tax-free cash, which he plans to put towards revamping his kitchen.
Christian said: “Ian's reaction was brilliant. You could tell he genuinely thought someone was winding him up at first.
“The timing couldn't have been more perfect. After hearing that his current bike was falling apart, it really felt like this prize had come at exactly the right moment.”
