A major VW car show and music festival is being staged in Alnwick Pastures next weekend.
The Mighty Dub Fest will take place in the town from Friday to Sunday. It follows a four-year stint at Druridge Bay Country Park.
A lack of space at the coastal beauty spot, coupled with drainage issues, have prompted the new setting.
Organiser Bruce Emmett said: “I am really looking forward to going to the Pastures. It is a really good venue, with the backdrop of the castle, and I hope it will be good for tourism. This is a unique festival as we are the furthest show in the North of England and the first from Scotland.
“It brings a great mix of people that know how to enjoy themselves, no matter what the weather does.
“We will bring people more entertainment, together with a great car show, and you know we provide something for the whole family.”
The theme of this year’s event is Harry Potter, after the first two movies were filmed at Alnwck Castle.
Gates open for campers at 2pm on the Friday and live music kicks off at 6pm. There will be three stages, including the dance tent.
Day visitors are able to attend the event on Saturday and Sunday.
Bands and artists to perform over the weekend include Atlantic Soul Messengers, Exploding Buddhas, Tom Dibb, Sugartown, Fickle Lilly, Hannah Lamb, The Purest Green, Eliza Smiles, Lions for a Day, We Steal Flyers and the Duchess Swing Orchestra.
Dogs are welcome at the festival.
