Where you can take your little ones to a special Polar Express-themed workshop this Christmas
Christmas is coming, the shops are packed and the festive fun is well and truly in full swing.
But if you’re looking for something special to celebrate the season, you can take your little ones for their first adventure to see a version of the Polar Express.
Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books, in Ouseburn, is already welcoming families to its Polar Express Festive Story Workshop.
So if you believe, pack your pyjamas and prepare for an interactive telling of the classic and touching tale – and don’t forget to listen out for the bell!
It promises to be a trip you will never forget for the whole family.
Each ticket includes a story workshop, a sweet treat, a warm drink and then the chance to decorate a festive cardboard craft of your own, designed by Lottie Smith.
When is it on and how much does it cost?
Family workshops, suitable for all ages, are taking place every Saturday and Sunday until December 22, with an extra session on Monday, December 23.
Tickets are £9.50 per person and the sessions run for 60 minutes.
Workshops suitable for under-fives are on December 3, 4, 12, 13, 17, 18 and 19.
They run for 45 minutes and cost £7.50 per person.
