Heritage Open Days returns with these 14 events across Northumberland
Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture.

Between September 11-20, places across the country are throwing open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all free.
Many online events are also being held this year due to coronavirus.
Find out about the town of Berwick in its newest Visitor Centre sited in a former Methodist Church. See the Tweed 900 Tapestry, a film about Berwick's history and view a new exhibition about Berwick's historic bridges.

Berwick has a wonderful collection of Borough Archives which are still kept in the town and give a great insight into its fascinating history. Join Berwick Archivist, Linda Bankier in this online talk for a delve into the archives.
