Classic motorcars to be put through their paces at Northumberland rally and displayed at Bamburgh Castle
Entries are building fast for a motor rally taking place in Northumberland.
Lombard Rally Festival Newcastle is being held on July 3 at Brunton Airfield near Chathill.
More than 80 entries have been received, which will see crews tackle numerous runs of the three-and-half mile test.
The cars will not be timed, as it is a demonstration not a competition.
There will be new car displays from various local dealerships plus some static rally cars and full catering facilities.
To maintain social distancing during the event, spectators will gain access through a dedicated entrance to park facing the rally route.
And from 12 noon an exclusive car show will take place within the grounds of nearby Bamburgh Castle with a huge selection of concourse cars with an Italian theme, Formula 5000 race cars, ex works rally cars and so much more.
The evening will host a star-studded forum at the castle to include Barry Lee, Louise Atiken Walker, Rosemary Smith plus other surprise guests.
A large screen outside the Kings Hall within the castle grounds will show footage of the action from earlier in the day from Brunton Airfield starting at 7pm with the forum commencing at 8pm. Outside catering and bar facilities will be available.
