Alnwick Garden announces Halloween half-term events with Spookydorei return
Alnwick Garden has announced a spooktacular programme of half-term events for Halloween.
From October 23 to November 1, families can make the most of pumpkin scavenger hunts, chilling tales and games, and the return of the popular Spookydorei, with activities across the day and into the evening.

The Alnwick Garden has transformed into The Pumpkin Garden, with visitors invited to explore the grounds from top to bottom to find all of the items on a special Pumpkin Garden Scavenger Hunt.
Little ones can also make the most of a wide range of fun-filled harvest games across half term. Afterwards, families can head to The Pavilion to enjoy a well-earned break with seasonal bakes and warming drinks.
During October half term, visitors can also discover the extraordinary world of plants with Reg the Hedge’s Beastly Botanicals Trail, uncovering The Alnwick Garden’s strangest plants, poisonous secrets, and curious myths.
While Lilidorei villagers are famed for their love for Christmas, that doesn’t stop them from going all out for Halloween as the village is transformed into Spookydorei.
Costumes are encouraged, with a packed programme of spooky games, chilling storytelling and the opportunity to trick or treat across the village to answer riddles and play games for sweet treats.
The daytime events between 10am and 4pm are fun for all ages, while thrill seekers over the age of 11 may prefer to return between 4:30pm and 9pm for all the fun of the daytime event with the addition of some spookier scares and effects thrown in too.
