AS part of the Highlights Community Touring scheme, the award-winning Pentabus Theatre bring their culture clash comedy that will resonate with country dwellers everywhere to north Northumberland.
Tales of the Country tells the story of journalist Brian Viner and his family as they move from a terraced house in London’s Crouch End to a rambling grange in rural Hertfordshire.
Based on the successful book of the same name and inspired by his weekly dispatches from the country in The Independent, Tales of the Country is a heart-warming chronicle of the hilarious incidents, pleasures and pitfalls that await a family from the city chasing a rural idyll.
