An international partnership between an Alnwick and Portugese dance school came to life on stage last weekend.

The Alnwick Academy of Dancing (ADD) presented its annual showcase of some of the group’s best movers and were joined on stage by dance school Escola de Dança Ana Mangericão (EDAM).

Miss Carole Moseley, who set up the partnership, said: “The show was very successful with most performances sold out.

“ The Portuguese students have had a wonderful time in Alnwick. Their performances were one of the highlights of the show and the partnership between the 2 schools and the pupils involved in the exchange has gone from strength to strength.

“The EDAM students have had an exceptional time in Alnwick and will remember their time here with lots of happy memories - including their visit to Alnwick Castle.

“The second part of the exchange has been as great a success.”
