Rumour has it that theatre club has a top-class farce on its hands
And if its anything like its previous shows, it is one not to be missed.
The show is a farce by Robert Scott and is the second with Helen Gee-Graham as director after she made her directorial debut two years ago with the medieval farce In My Lady’s Chamber.

Hide AdAccording To Rumour is the story of the morning after the night before – Carter wakes up to find he has the hangover from hell, a naked woman in his flat, and mysterious bag of money. His flat has obviously been used for a wild party and to make matters worse, his overbearing mother is on her way over.
What on earth happened last night? The plot thickens further when more characters arrive and cause even more chaos.
And not forgetting, who actually fancies who?
Helen said: “There’s plenty of laughs throughout so come along and be entertained.
“This production will be our last one prior to the closure of the Playhouse for its exciting refurbishment.”
