GRISLY Tales from Tumblewater is heading out on the road after a rip-roaring run at The Edinburgh Fringe 2011.

The tale of a determined orphan, a satchel full of spine-chilling stories and a whole lot of rain, the show is like Charles Dickens crossed with Roald Dahl via Horrible Histories with laughs, frights and live music.

It is a funny, spooky and playful adaptation of Bruno Vincent’s deliciously dark novel (nominated for the 2010 Waterstone’s Children’s Book Awards), and is suitable for those aged eight and over.
