The judges for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent have been announced just a few days after the show came to Northumberland for the first time in search of stars.
Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams have confirmed they have signed up once again to join Simon Cowell as judges on the TV hit show.
The quartet are to head out on tour from next week as they seek out contestants for this year’s series which it returns in the spring, with Ant and Dec to be hosts of the ITV show once again.
But last week, producers chose to pay their first visit to Northumberland and a flood of entries proved the county has got what it takes at the auditions at Bedlington-based Leading Link on Monday night.
It means the show will have had the same panel for four years, with Dixon and Walliams joining in 2012, while Cowell and Holden have been with the show since it launched in 2007.
Televised auditions for the ITV talent show, which is open to any age, background or ability, begin at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on Monday.
