Pirates of Penzance, All Saints’ Parish Church, Rothbury, Wednesday, May 2, 7.30pm.

THE Mid-Northumberland Chorus from Morpeth presents the Gilbert and Sullivan classic with story narrator Arlene Cadman.

The Major General is played by David Richardson of Snitter, currently president of Morpeth Rotary Club and a member of Rothbury church choir.

The musical director is Paul Toward and Mabel and Fred are played by professional soloists Jane Jackson (soprano) and Alex Banfield (tenor).

Tickets £7, under 16s free from Tully’s Deli in Rothbury or on the door.
