For these woods are in Nottingham forest, well the Jubilee Hall Rothbury, to be exact.

And in them you will find the cast of Coquetdale Amateur Dramatic Society putting on its version of Robin Hood, a one like none seen before.

Written by local duo John Mawer and Adrian Hulford, with James Tait as musical director, this is a Coquet Valley version.

The songs, too, are very localised – they may sound familiar, but listen to the words and they take on an entirely new meaning.

The cast includes all the local favourites, with some new faces making their debut and livening things up a bit.

Performances take place at 2.30pm on Sunday, February 4, and 7.30pm on Thursday, February 8, Friday, February 9, and Saturday, February 10. Tickets are available from Tully’s, Rothbury.
