FROM ghostly walks to terrifying tales – this Hallowe’en promises to be spook-tacular.

Tomorrow: Monster Mash Hallowe’en Show. Join Grumblebum the witch with her spooky friends in a magical adventure where spells go wrong and chaos looms! Why not come in fancy dress? You may win a fancy-dress prize. As well as a brilliant stage show, there are party games, fun things to do and a Spooky Disco in The Pavilion. 1.30pm and 3pm. Shows last 40 minutes. Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30: Taffy’s Terrifying Tales. No Hallowe’en at The Alnwick Garden would be complete without Taffy Thomas and his ghostly tales. Saturday, October 29: Spooky Magic Show. Alnwick’s weekly Saturday market plays host to a spooky magic show from local magician Martin Duffy from 10.30am. Magic tricks, stories and balloon twisting to delight all ages.

Sunday, October 30: Spooky Hallowe’en Tours. Unique spooky tours of the Woodhorn site. Hear about ghostly goings-on in the atmospheric and historic colliery buildings.
