An award-winning landscape photographer is coming to Alnwick for a special one-night talk for all budding photographers.
Mark Littlejohn is known for his stunningly-detailed works, which have earned him titles like Landscape Photographer of the year and it’s easy to see why.
The evening, hosted by Alnwick and District Camera Club, will see Littlejohn explore A Different View, focusing on his speciality of moody, atmospheric early morning shots.
The Lake District-based artist was named Take a View UK Landscape Photographer of the Year for 2014. He is often called upon to take promotional shots of The Lake District and clients including Hunter Boots.
Littlejohn only took up photography a few years ago, and soon discovered that he loved taking pictures – he even loved getting up early and watching the sun rise over the Lakes.
Alnwick Camera Club chairman Richard Stent said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to host an evening with a photographer of Mark’s calibre. Mark has a portfolio of memorable images that reflect his passion for photography, the North of England and Scotland.”
The event takes place at The Alnwick Playhouse on Wednesday, November 25, at 7.30pm. Tickets, £10, on 01665 510 785 or visit www.alnwickplayhouse.co.uk
