Alnwick Music Society has announced its new concert series, and for the first time it details seven concerts available to members at a discounted price.
The season starts with a piano recital on September 15, with the return of society favourite Italian pianist Alessandro Taverna.
The second recital will be performed by young Romanian pianist Alexandra Dariescu, who performed at the Sage last year.
Both concerts will take place in the Castle Guest Hall.
The society has also announced three string concerts, one given by a quartet, the other two by solo performers.
Excitingly, violinist Jennifer Pike, the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year title, will be performing in Alnwick, accompanied by her father Jeremy Pike.
No season would be complete without a performance by the society president Martin Roscoe. On this occasion he comes with his piano trio.
The series runs from September into 2016, and this year the society committee has decided to include a seventh concert at no extra charge.
Membership is £75. If tickets are bought for each concert individually they will cost £16, £15 conc, students free.
