LISTEN to some good music with a spectacular backdrop as this outdoor concert takes place in the inner ward of Bamburgh Castle.

Spectators are welcome to bring a picnic or eat in the castle cafeteria.

The Northumbrian Ranters are a 50-strong youth band comprising fiddles, cellos, accordions, flutes and Northumbrian pipes.

They play a mixture of local, Scottish, Irish, Spanish and Norweigian traditional music.

They are joined again this year by the Rothbury Pipe Band and, bringing a tropical feel, will be the Seahouses Middle School Steel Band.

Come rain or shine, these talented youngsters are sure to provide a great evening of entertainment.
