A former Pop Idol semi-finalist and X Factor contestant is to perform at The Alnwick Garden later this month.
Jamie Tinkler will be taking to the stage with his Olly Meets Bublé act, singing the best-known songs from both solo artists, Olly Murs and Michael Bublé.
A night of good music is on the cards for the event on Saturday, March 15, in the Pavillion at 7.30pm.
The charismatic singer will perform songs such asCry Me A River, Troublemaker, Haven’t Met You Yet, Heart On My Sleeve, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Dance With Me Tonight, Me & Mrs Jones, Please Don’t Let Me Go and many more.
At 21, Jamie came third in the British qualifying competition for the Eurovision Song Contest, not bad for his first live television performance.
In 2003, he reached the semi-finals of Pop Idol. Jamie met Pete Waterman on the prgramme and, later that year, Pete signed him up for a boy/ girl group called Pop. In 2006, he was asked to join boy band Avenue, who were lined up for tilt at The X Factor.
