Two of Scotland’s acclaimed multi-instrumentalists will perform in Etal next weekend.
Mairearad Green, on accordion and bagpipes, and Anna Massie, on guitar, banjo and fiddle, provide a highly energetic performance, with an instantly warm and friendly stage presence.
Having played alongside each other for more than 10 years, they revel in an intuitive approach to each other’s musical ideas and interpretations, and are said to have an “almost telepathic communication” on stage, effortlessly showcasing the fruits of duo partnership to the highest level.
Now based in Glasgow, Mairearad and Anna both grew up in the Scottish Highlands amidst very similar musical backgrounds.
They will be performing at Etal Village Hall on Saturday, November 12.
