There’s not long to wait for a summer evening of sounds and stalls as the countdown begins to the Bamburgh B-Festival.
The event returns for the third year at Bamburgh Castle Green next week, featuring a wide range of local musicians and bands.
More than 700 people attended previous festivals in 2015 and 2016, and organisers are hoping for big crowds again.
Acts include The Shindiggers, The Ukele Rif Raf band, Andrew Lobb, The Killer Cats, The Joe Mangels, Hardly Original, Traveller and Rhionne.
The event is organised in aid of HospiceCare North Northumberland.
As well as the entertainment, there will be food and drink stalls, and people can take their own picnic.
HospiceCare events fund-raiser Rebecca Taylor said: “Our aim is to give guests a great summer evening with friends, enjoying their picnic and fizz, or choosing from the selection of food and drink stalls, listening to some cool sounds and watching the sun set on Bamburgh Castle.”
The festival takes place on Friday, August 25, from 5pm.
Tickets cost £20 adult, under 16s free. Visit www.bfest.org.uk or see Facebook BFestival.
• The winner of a Gazette draw to win two tickets to the festival is Christine Chalk, of Rothbury.
