Live acts will be a highlight in villages

From live music to a poignant exploration of the effects of war – Highlights Rural Touring Scheme is bringing two shows to village venues next month.

On Friday, November 14, Pentabus Theatre presents Each Slow Dusk at Whittingham Memorial Institute, from 7.30pm.

The play is a contemporary look at the impact war had, and continues to have, on rural communities. Tickets are £8, £7 conc, £4 children and £18 family are available by calling 01665 574964.

The next evening, Craster Memorial Hall hosts the Monster Ceilidh Band, from 7pm. The act uses a bold and unique fusion of the folk tradition and modern electronic dance music. Tickets are £7.50, £4 children and £18 family, from 01665 576226.
