The Reel Northumbria Ceilidh Band will be back in Warkworth Memorial Hall on Tuesday.

The session is the latest in a monthly series of ceilidhs at the venue, which are proving very popular.

Band leader Peter Hollins said: ”There’s a number of things that make the evenings so enjoyable. It’s a real old-fashioned ceilidh where the dances are interspersed with songs, poems and monologues.

“There’s a variety of ages and levels of experience, but our caller, Elaine Carter, has a wealth of dances and makes it easy for everyone to join in.”

The event starts at 7.30pm. Bring drink/glasses and food. Tickets, £5, from Warkworth Post Office, 01665 830330 or on the door on the night.
