Easter’s a scream for Garden visitors

T-REXTASY is in store for visitors to Alnwick Garden this Easter weekend as they come face to face with a dinosaur.

A two-metre-tall, five-metre-long animatronic T-Rex will make several appearances throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, between 10am and 6pm.

The Garden is also launching a Fear Factor photo and video competition. People will be able to capture their best picture or scream alongside the dinosaur and upload it to

deluxe Easter chocolate baskets.

From tomorrow to Monday,

there will be a dinosaur dozen egg hunt, 10am to 6pm, while crafty visitors can create their own prehistoric egg between 11amto 4pm.

On Saturday, between 11am and 4pm, The Hatter will be at the Garden, welcoming visitors and helping them navigate their way to the Dinosaur Dozen Egg Trail.

On Sunday and Monday, Taffy Thomas will tell stories at noon and 2pm and lead an egg-roll in the Cherry Orchard.
