Duck race forms part of Hospice charity day

HospiceCare North Northumberland’s open-garden season continues this weekend.

Mindrum House will be accessible to visitors on Sunday, from 2pm to 5pm.

This stunning garden was first planted in the 1870s and has evolved over time into a series of intimate gardens.

There is a large hillside rock garden with water leading to a pond and a delightful stream which will host the HospiceCare Duck Race.

Garden entry is £4, children £2, U5s free. Entry in aid of the National Gardens Scheme, with duck races and proceeds of teas to HospiceCare. Dogs on leads are welcome. Wheelchair access is limited.
