The author of Oswald: King of the North, will be giving an an illustrated lecture on the life and times of Oswald, in the shadow of Oswald’s Castle at Bamburgh, in St Aidan’s Church at 4pm on Sunday.
Max Adams will be introduced by Graeme Young, senior Director of Bamburgh Research Project, who knows the archaeology of the Anglo Saxon Castle better than anyone else. Both experts will be happy to take questions after the lecture. A double treat for anyone who loves local history, organised by The Friends of St Aidan’s. Entry on the door costs £5 including afternoon tea.
