Charity supporters have once again agreed to transform themselves into catwalk models to help raise funds at a special event.
HospiceCare North Northumberland is holding its annual fashion show at Alnwick Garden next month.
And supporters of the charity, which has bases in Alnwick and Berwick, will have a starring role on the runway.
And this year, pupils from the Duchess’s Community High School’s Rock of Ages production will also be performing highlights from their show on the night.
The event, on Friday, March 11, will once again be sponsored by Metrology Software Products Limited (MSP).
Margaret Toberty, business development manager at MSP said: “Many of our team, friends and families are connected to or have been touched in some way by the invaluable service HospiceCare North Northumberland provide.
“It is important for us to support, where we can, the efforts of the hospice and we are delighted to sponsor the Spring Fashion Show for a third year.”
The night will start with a welcome drink and canapés, then supporters will watch the models wearing the latest spring fashions from Dorothy Perkins, Foresters, Kiddies Kabin, Hotspur 1364, Regram Runway, Seasons, The Emporium and couture milliner Margaret Woodliff Wright.
Rebecca Taylor, fund-raiser at HospiceCare, added: “Our models were amazing last year; there was no dress rehearsal, just a ‘can do’ inspirational attitude that made the night so special for everyone involved.
“We are so delighted that the local high street retailers are once again supporting this event with some new exciting additions.”
