Sunshine on Lindisfarne: The Proclaimers to perform at Northumberland festival alongside Faithless and Razorlight
The Proclaimers are set to descend on Northumberland for the Lindisfarne Festival.
Leith’s favourite sons will be joined by Faithless and Razorlight at the 2026 event from September 3-5.
After being dramatically saved from the brink of closure last year, Lindisfarne Festival now appears not only revitalised, but set on delivering its most ambitious edition yet at Beal Farm, overlooking the tidal causeway to Holy Island.
Organisers say this year’s line-up signals a confident new chapter and a renewed commitment to the diversity and energy that have defined Lindisfarne Festival since its launch.

Alongside its trio of headliners, the festival has revealed a broad and eclectic mix of established names, genre innovators and rising UK talent.
Acts already confirmed include Soul II Soul, Elvana, Tide Lines, Professor Green, Heather Small and Utah Saints - artists who collectively span decades of dance, pop and alternative culture.
Festival director Conleth Maenpaa said: “Last year was emotional. This year is massive. To go from fighting for survival to unveiling a line-up like this is extraordinary.
"Faithless, Razorlight and The Proclaimers each bring something iconic, and together they set the tone for the most exciting edition of the festival we’ve ever delivered.”

He credited the festival’s survival to the loyalty of its audience and the wider creative community, saying the determination shown by supporters has shaped the direction of the 2026 event.
“We were completely humbled by the people who stepped up to keep Lindisfarne alive,” he added.
“This festival means something to people - it’s not just a weekend away. It’s a place where friendships start, creativity thrives and the North East shows its spirit. This year’s line-up and programme are designed to honour that and to deliver a truly unforgettable experience.”
In addition, the 2026 festival will offer a significantly expanded programme of attractions and activities with a larger artisan food village, enhanced licensed bars, new late-night dance spaces, and an extended billing of comedy, spoken word, and walkabout performances.

Wellness sessions - including sunrise yoga, relaxation workshops and other immersive experiences - will return. Glamping options, campervan facilities and VIPee toilets will again be available, while shuttle buses will operate to and from Berwick-upon-Tweed station throughout the weekend.
