Puppeteers to perform Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol at Alnwick Castle

A festive treat for all the family is coming to Alnwick Castle with puppetry performances of the much-loved Dickensian tale: A Christmas Carol.

There will be four performances from the award-winning Life and Limb Puppets on Tuesday, December 10 and Wednesday, December 11, featuring stunning, larger-than-life, skilled puppetry, great live music, mischievous sprites and a large sprinkling of Christmas cheer.A Christmas Carol - the well-known tale of greed, poverty and the everlasting hope that comes from the Christmas spirit – has delighted the public since the 1800s and the team behind the show certainly have plenty of imaginative surprises up their sleeves to bring the classic story to life.Performances start at 7pm and 9pm on both nights.Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and no glass or alcohol will be permitted.For further information on the show and to book tickets please visit: www.alnwickcastle.com/events/a-christmas-carol-live-at-alnwick-castle
