The singer returns to the UK in July and August for a string of special outdoor shows in some of the most stunning venues across the country, and will entertain tens of thousands of fans.

Kicking off in Bath on 24 July, the Bubes then spends a week touring the south east of England. But it’s his trip up north at the start of August that has us most excited, as he calls into Durham Country Cricket Club on 1 August.

Then it's back down south to Leeds, followed by a jaunt down the M5 to Exeter, then a quick stop off in Cardiff before wrapping the UK leg up in Hove.

That year was a tumultuous one for Bublé, who at one time had announced his retirement from the music industry as his son battled liver cancer.

"I'm retiring from the business," he told the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine on 13 October. "I've made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top."

Fortunately, Bublé was able to come out of his hiatus following the brilliant news that Elias had been given the all-clear.

The Canadian star said the ordeal his son went through had made him re-evaluate his life after the four-time Grammy winner had stepped back from the spotlight.

What might he play?

With the concerts over six months away, it's not yet known what hits Bublé will be performing by the time the UK shows roll around.

While his smooth renditions of Christmas classics might sound a bit out of place under the beating summer sun, tracks like 'Feeling Good', 'Home' and 'Everything' are sure to get an airing.

According to setlist.fm - which looks at artists' setlists and analyses their most played songs - Bublé's "average" setlist in 2019 looks like this:

'Feeling Good' 'Haven't Met You Yet' 'My Funny Valentine' 'I Only Have Eyes for You' 'Sway' 'Such a Night' '(Up A) Lazy River' 'When You're Smiling' 'You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You' 'When I Fall in Love' 'Love You Anymore' 'Forever Now' 'Home' 'Buona sera signorina' 'Just a Gigolo / I Ain't Got Nobody' 'You Never Can Tell' 'Nobody but Me' 'Cry Me a River'

Encore:

'Where or When' 'Everything' 'You Were Always on My Mind'

Buble's Christmas tunes are so prolific during the festive season, that some have joked that the star only goes back to work every Christmas after a spell out of the spotlight.

There was even a meme showing the Canadian singer emerging from a cave, one that he didn't share the amusement over.

"You notice I don't find that as funny as everybody else?" he old The Graham Norton Show. "Do you know how many a**hole friends I have that think that I haven't [seen it] and send me it and go, 'Look at the meme they have!'"
