Ashington and District Male Voice Choir line up busy autumn programme of events

Ashington and District Male Voice Choir has a busy programme organised for this autumn.

It begins with two short performances in the ground floor entrance foyer of Asda in Ashington on Friday, September 20 from 1pm.

“We will be supporting the Wansbeck Valley Foodbank on the day, and we hope that this will lead to a closer working relationship with the charity,” they say in their latest newsletter.

It is followed by a charity concert ‘Remembering Local Heroes’ with guest artist Susan Robertson at St Bartholomew’s Church in Newbiggin on October 20.

On October 25 they will be supporting Ashington and Newbiggin-by-the Sea Town Councils with two performances at The Maritime Centre to support the visit by civic twinning delegates from the City of Remscheid.

On November 15 the choir will be performing at the Annual Charity Concert at County Hall in Morpeth.
