The ongoing coronavirus pandemic may have put paid to the usual plans for the popular Northumberland event – but the outbreak didn’t stop organisers from working hard to deliver something special.

Tireless planning has led to the creation of a three-day virtual festival, which will not only feature live performances but musical workshops and the chance to visit a virtual marketplace via Facebook.

The annual event would usually feature a number of vibrant stalls to round off the festival experience, and those wishing to take part are being invited to browse online stalls as well as tuning in for live music.

Headline acts performing throughout the weekend include The Mighty Doonans, Merry Hell and The Tannahill Weavers, with music set to kick off from around 6pm each day.
