11 brilliant photos of joyous scenes at Morpeth’s Party in the Park despite thunderstorm interruption

Hosted in a field adjacent to Craik Park, thousands of people attended the weekend event – with plenty for everyone to enjoy.

However, this year’s event was interrupted slightly by thunderstorms in the area on the Sunday that temporarily halted proceedings and required a temporary evacuation of the site.

The organisers have now updated that as a goodwill gesture, they will be offering Sunday day ticket holders a free day ticket to Party in the Park 2027.
