It’s a double celebration at the Northumberland Vintage Tractor Rally at Brunton Airfield this weekend as it’s the 40th anniversary of the show and 70 years since the sound of a Lancaster bomber engine roared on the runway at Brunton.
The Northumberland Vintage Tractor Club is holding its 40th rally across the weekend at the Christon Bank site.
The theme for this year’s rally is anything that was on a dealers forecourt 40 years ago.
This year, many local agricultural dealers are bringing along what is on their forecourts today to show how things have developed over the past 40 years.
The field opens at 10am on both days. Children up to 12 are free. Saturday tickets are £4, and Sunday £6. Visit www.northumberlandvin tagetractorclub.co.uk
